Yuan Zhao is a Ph.D. student (Rhetoric and Composition) and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the English Department of the University of Louisville. He is writing a dissertation studying attention as a rhetorical phenomenon in recent social movements.

His research interests include attention, digital rhetoric, writing assessments and technology, and the history of rhetoric.

This website is more than a personal academic portfolio to display for the job market. But I promise it looks cleaner than usual. Please forgive me if you find it to be messy. This main site hosts several subsites for my students to practice WordPress Gutenberg basics, and I also use this site hosting some HTML pages and linking to some resources that I find to be useful. BTW, this site is hosted at WordPress.org, rather than WordPress.com. I am also acquiring my GitHub literacy now.
